Field Trip

These are some busy weeks for me again so I don't have much time for art, and the time I have I've been using to mostly sketch and try to learn some new things rather than creating finished pieces, and also slowly getting my mind into a new art project that is going to become something bigger...
So as it's been a bit since my last deviation and it's going to be a bit until the next one, here's another painting I finished a couple weeks ago and that I thought was looking quite alright.

I was just looking forward to make some environments and try out so many things I had been seeing in tutorials and other amazing artists' art. So what I did here was again mainly just mess around with custom brushes and colors until I saw something in it, then start painting over that while trying to achieve a deep sense of depth. This time I took longer, about 9-10 hours, which still seems a short time to me, specially knowing that it would be dramatically reduced once I have more practice.

Again, I would really appreciate some comments and even more so criticism, as I'm just at the very beginning of the path!
